What We Do

Our Purpose

The Caribbean American Heritage Foundation  (CAAHFI) was established to exclusively promote public awareness and appreciation for the variety of Caribbean cultures through their customs, heritage, culture, music, foods, arts & crafts, and other attributes; while highlighting both individual and collective contributions made by people of Caribbean heritage to the diverse and evolving culture of the United States of America. CAAHFI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, partners and collaborate with Caribbean organizations and promotion groups in achieving our goals and objectives.

Empowering our youth: Organize events to inspire and educate our youth to embrace their rich West Indies Caribbean Culture and assist in passing on our rich heritage to our youth. Organized and/or sponsor cultural events such as acting, film production, scholarships, social skills, mentorship, camera training, business mentorship, and skills training.

Organize and sponsor cultural and sporting events (e.g.); soccer, cricket, volleyball, cultural picnics, storytelling, folklore, drum beating, dancing, our history, poetry, and sporting event exhibitions to advance their knowledge of the Caribbean culture and the works of the Caribbean, American artist and people of Caribbean heritage. We also provide a variety of services including production, Staging, Literary, Events and Promotion, Speaking Engagements, Licensing, and Merchandising and Management.

We have partnered with the Greater Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau to highlight the rich West Indies Caribbean culture in their literature and brochures. We also support all Caribbean Magazine’s profiling Caribbean organizations, businesses, and groups.
